A civil complaint has been filed in the Florida Federal court against Bill Heiser and Peggy Heiser, the former owner/operators of Southern Coast K9. The lawsuit alleges multiple issues that threaten the canine industry integrity, including fraud, violation of immigration laws, and mistreatment of foreign nationals. Additionally, it claims the falsification of canine passports provided to customers, breach of contract, civil theft, theft of the American Detection Canine Association entity and business, violation of noncompete agreements, and other misdeeds that undermine transparency in the K9 industry. This is not the first time Bill Heiser has been sued by a purchaser of this business- In 2011, a prior owner of the business sued Mr. Heiser- and won- a lawsuit based on similar grounds.
